Hadeda ibis

We started 7:30 am, we arrived back home 6:00 pm. It was fun. It is not as if the coastal forests are always that pretty. They can be quite mean attacking you with vines and thorns whilst all you try to do is taking your equipment to that plot to take some nice pictures. But they can also be pretty awesome. Especially, when you arrive at the starting point of the walk that very much resembles a sandy beach. Well, actually it was the beach. And, yes, the water is warm. And yes, we were driving all the way to the edge of the sea to have lunch. And yes, we did get stuck. But not for long, because we can push.

And as the guys are all ornithologists, they keep me updated on species names. Some rare ones. Some common ones. Lets hope some names stick. Like the Hadeda ibis.
